 Emojis: What the Emoticon Creator Never Wanted to Happen

I believe the title sums it up. 

This last week, the class went through presentations on the inventions and history of different milestones in media. One that particularly caught my eye was the presentation on Emojis. To be frank, I was not paying very close attention, as my ability to stay focused is equivalent to the memory of a goldfish. However, there was a :-) on the board and my attention was caught. Apparently, the man who invented emoticons is extremely distressed and offended at the creation of Emojis. While I'm not particularly keen on Emojis either, I wouldn't say I necessarily dislike them. There's just something slightly off about them. In any case.
